v2.27.0
v2.27.0: stock per warehouse, document numbers, and QuickBooks nets
Stock is kept per warehouse, with existing rows on Main. Blank sales orders, purchase orders, and pallets get a number when you save. A QuickBooks-mode invoice sends the net line amount.
One hundred thirty-nine commits since v2.26.0. Nine database changes. Five of them rewrite existing rows. The tag is cut after this page, not by it.

Stock is one row per product and warehouse. What you already had is stamped to Main. While Main is the only warehouse, the product screen still shows that balance. After a second warehouse is active, adding available stock with no location is refused, and a transfer between warehouses is refused. Moving stock from one warehouse to another is not in this release.
A purchase order stores a destination warehouse. Orders that already existed take the warehouse that matches the ship-to address, or Main. Floor users are assigned to Main.
Voiding a customer invoice or a vendor bill sets the open balance to zero in the same step. Documents that were already void and still showed a balance are set to zero. That does not void the invoice in QuickBooks.
Changing a case or master-case pack factor folds the stored cases into pieces at the old factor. The piece total stays the same. The change is recorded.
A new movement stores the unit that was entered. New purchase-order lines and receipt lines can store that quantity and unit. Older rows stay blank.
The movement ledger gives each inventory status its own label: Pick face, Bulk, On order, On dock, On way, and the rest. A purchase-order pipeline row is named from what that movement did.
On a wholesale sales order, changing the line unit no longer multiplies a price that was already in that unit. A catalog price of 18.99 per case stays 18.99 on a case line, and converts by the pack factor when the line unit changes. A new line opens in the unit of the price that won: a private customer price, then that customer’s list, then a pack price, then the catalog.
Sales order, purchase order, and pallet numbers are no longer invented in the browser. Leave the number blank. The server assigns it when you save. The date in the number uses the company time zone. Two saves at the same time get two numbers.
Accounting mode is the invoicing switch. In QuickBooks mode, Email Invoice is hidden, and the Accounting menu keeps Customer Invoices, AR Aging, QuickBooks, and 3PL Billing. Posting a sales-order invoice in that mode writes no internal journal entry. QuickBooks receives the net line amount, and the tax QuickBooks returns is stored on the DockingWare invoice. Customer and item mapping searches and pages instead of loading the whole catalog into one list.
Known limits
A payment recorded in QuickBooks does not change the DockingWare invoice balance.
Voiding here does not void a QuickBooks invoice that is already linked. That QuickBooks invoice stays open.
Ship Confirm does not create the invoice.
QuickBooks invoice sync is in pilot and not yet enabled for live QuickBooks companies.
Stock is not moved between warehouses. A sales order is not assigned to one warehouse yet. Adjust Stock does not yet move the pallet line when the location changes. A wholesale pack price edited on the SKU is not in this release. Company Settings does not yet edit the document-number format.
