v2.28.0

v2.28.0: warehouse on the order, formula prices, and QuickBooks payments

A sales order is filled from one warehouse. Prices can be a percent off the catalog or a percent on cost. QuickBooks payments update the invoice balance.

This release puts each sales order in one warehouse, adds formula prices and cost visibility by role, and brings QuickBooks payments back to the invoice.

Shipped

A sales order belongs to one warehouse. Orders that already existed take the company’s default warehouse. Allocation uses that warehouse and does not take pieces from another. If that warehouse cannot fill the order, the order holds and the message names the warehouse. A draft, or a confirmed order that has not reserved stock yet, can change warehouse. A line with a price typed by hand keeps that price.

Adjust Stock moves the pallet line when you change the location. A decrease lists the locations that hold the product, with the quantity. The stock bucket and the pallet line change together. The movement stores the location. With one warehouse and no location, the adjustment still changes only the bucket.

On the product, Wholesale prices by unit lists the catalog price and the prices per unit. Ending a price takes effect that day. You can replace an open price in one step. A price can be a fixed amount, a percent off the catalog, or a percent on cost. A row reads Catalog - 10%, Catalog - 10%, ends .99, or Cost + 10%. Someone who cannot see cost sees Formula (restricted) and does not edit the cost-plus percent. The sentence under the price on a sales order says where the price came from.

Standard cost stores four decimal places. A supplier price is kept for each product, supplier, and unit. A purchase order line opens on that price when one is in effect. On a sales order, Owner and Admin see the margin and the cost amount when the line is below cost. Sales sees the price, the sentence under it, and that the line is below cost, without the amount and without the margin.

On Members, a company admin assigns the enterprise role. The selector shows a plain name and one line of what that role can do. Sales can open an order without an error about screens that role cannot read.

Changing a password, resetting one, or turning a user off ends the other sessions. The device where the password was changed stays signed in. The others are asked to sign in again. Sessions from before this release stay valid until that change.

A payment recorded in QuickBooks updates the invoice balance here. The read runs every 20 minutes, and from Refresh from QuickBooks on the invoice. A zero balance is paid. A partial balance is partially paid. An overdue invoice stays overdue while QuickBooks still shows the full amount. The invoice lists the linked payments.

A mapped payment term is sent with the invoice, and the due date stays. A line sold in a pack is described with the unit and the factor, for example Product-01 (MC of 360).

Connecting a shop that another company already uses is refused. The message names the shop and says it is already connected elsewhere. It does not name the other company.

The public site has a Help section. The first chapter is pricing.
